# Community Guidelines

**Effective:** July 24, 2025

We are glad to have you here and want to ensure everyone has a positive and enjoyable Socra experience. To achieve this, we have created some community guidelines to keep public interactions safe and enjoyable for everyone.

## Scope

These community guidelines apply to all public content and interactions on Socra, including but not limited to:

- Public Spaces
- Community forums
- Public Socras
- Public Journeys
- Any other content or interactions that are publicly visible to or accessible by other users

## 1. Safety First

Do not post or share content that could harm or endanger others, including promoting illegal activities, self-harm, violence, child sexual abuse material, or content that incites hate based on personal characteristics.

## 2. Be Kind and Respectful

Treat everyone in the community with respect and kindness. Do not harass, bully, or discriminate against others based on their race, gender, age, sexual orientation, religion, or any other personal characteristic.

## 3. Share the Truth

Do not post or share deceptive or misleading information. Fact-check before sharing. Examples include fake news, manipulated media, impersonation, and attempts to manipulate elections.

## 4. Keep It Organized

Help keep the community organized by posting content in the appropriate journey categories and using clear, descriptive titles.

## 5. Constructive Discussion Only

The Socra forum is a place for respectful, constructive discussion. Do not use it to spam, promote your own products or services, or engage in disruptive or inappropriate behavior.

## 6. Keep Sensitive Information Private

Do not share sensitive information on Socra.

## 7. Follow the Terms of Service

Follow the [Terms of Service](/policies/terms), which outline the guidelines for using the site.

## 8. No Advertising

Do not use Socra to promote or advertise products or services.

## 9. Follow Copyright Laws

Do not share content that infringes on the copyright of others. Only post content that you have the right to share.

## 10. Keep Content Appropriate

Keep your content appropriate for a diverse community. Avoid posting content that is excessively graphic, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate.

## Enforcement

All community members are expected to comply with these guidelines to maintain a safe and positive environment for all users. We reserve the right, in our sole and absolute discretion, to determine whether content or conduct violates these guidelines and to take any remedial action we deem appropriate, including but not limited to content removal, account suspension, or account termination, with or without prior notice. We retain full discretion in the interpretation and enforcement of these guidelines and may modify our enforcement approach at any time. Users acknowledge that our enforcement decisions are final and that no explanations or justifications for such decisions shall be provided. All users are encouraged to familiarize themselves with these guidelines to ensure compliance and maintain a productive community environment.
